PLDDVK 53 – anti-aircraft armored truck.
The ghost of the cold warThis armored truck is one of most know in the army force of the Warsaw pact.
Nicknamed “the lizard” by the Nato force during the cold war, it is still in use in a lot of army in the world, Africa and asia.
The production of this famous truck was in Czechoslovakia by Praga. The engine is a 6 cylinders by Tatra , a company renowned for strength and reliability. Produced since 1953, this lizard was from 1968.
The anti aircraft gun was two 30mm tube and neutralized with French certificate, the system of elevation and rotation running.
The truck was bought in running condition and storage since 8 years for a museum project.
It was complet and need restarted recondition.
